I got an email that "Delivery was attempted" but I was here all day

We get a good number of customer concerns about confusing postal messages like this – it seems that sometimes "delivery attempted" is entered into the system when a postal carrier simply has too many deliveries for the day, or when a problem happens further from your home, such as an issue with the delivery truck.

Whatever it was, USPS will attempt delivery two more times, so this issue should resolve itself.

Let us know if the package doesn't arrive within 2 business days of this notice.
